I went out with my friend Sandrine (check her photos out at sandrine.aminus3.com) to take some shots of the cat tails in winter. These are the best of my nature shots from that park. I hope you enjoy them. :)

@Charles: thank you! It was really cold and the wind was whipping around that I did not want to be out for very long. I do like the one on the left the best too. I was quite discouraged that I only ended up with 3 workable shots....

Nice, nature sure is spiky in winter. I love the image lower right in particular, they look like spaceships from a 1950s sci fi movie.

Marion, These are beautiful images!! the cattail is my favorite cuz I just love those things!! :) The lighting is wonderful. The way you put this together is great. The crop on the teasel is perfect for its corner. Wonderful collection of winters gifts!

...and no thanks to that snow; you may keep it at home! I am ready for spring and can't wait for it, although the weather forecast still shows freezing temps for us in the near future.
